Applied AI Engineer, Agents
Build and run agents on Lemma inside our clients' workflows, where every action is checkable.

What you will do
- Design and build agents on Lemma for client workflows, from first prototype to production.
- Connect agents to client systems with the narrowest permissions that work.
- Test agents against each client's review rules before launch, then monitor and improve them.
- Work directly with client teams, and bring what you learn back to the product.
What we look for
- Experience building production systems with large language models.
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering, including integration with enterprise systems.
- Comfort working directly with clients.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance or life sciences.
- Experience with evaluation of agent behavior.
You do not need to meet every point to apply. We care about what you have built or proved more than titles.
Pay and benefits
The base salary range for this role is $160k–$230k a year. It is the range we expect in good faith to pay; where an offer falls depends on experience and skills. Offers also include equity.
