Build the training and evaluation infrastructure for our first models of our own.

What you will do

  • Design and run the infrastructure for training and fine-tuning our models.
  • Build data pipelines with provenance, so every output can be traced to the data and version behind it.
  • Run evaluation at scale, wired into our release process.
  • Keep compute costs visible and under control.

What we look for

  • Experience operating GPU workloads for training or large-scale inference.
  • Strong systems engineering in Python and at least one systems language.
  • Experience with distributed training frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

  • Experience with reinforcement learning or verifier-guided training.
  • Infrastructure as code (for example Terraform or Pulumi).

You do not need to meet every point to apply. We care about what you have built or proved more than titles.

Pay and benefits

The base salary range for this role is $180k–$260k a year. It is the range we expect in good faith to pay; where an offer falls depends on experience and skills. Offers also include equity.
